Lincoln "K" Technical Questions

One-off alteration of a 1936 K.
Jim Raymond
Notice this 1939 K has an unusual partition. It's wider than the one on the factor-bodied K and comes down from the headliner farther. It appears to lack jump seats.

The description says it's a short-wheelbase car. It looks like someone wanted the privacy of a limousine but didn't want the long wheelbase and had no need for jump seats.

I wonder who made the modification. It looks well-done, practically as though it was done by the factory. The VIN is 9565.

The car is for sale as of November 26, 2017:

Correction to the Subject: it's a 1939.
