I am 75 years old and shedding some projects. I have this car now listed on Craig's List, Winston Salem, NC for the price of $8500.00. The car body and trim are made of cast aluminum and in good condition. Fenders are heavy gauge steel and very strong. Someone covered the top insert with sheet metal but it can be repaired fairly easy. The car has all the running gear in tact but missing carb, distributor, and water pump. The rear seat, bumpers and headlights, are missing. The engine flatheads shows some weld repairs from freeze damage and I am not sure if they are usable. The car has been stored inside my garage for the 9 years that I have owned it. Clear NC title. I can assist with delivery. A Ford Motor Company letter dated Sept.17, 1929 describes this car very well and all its features. From all the research I have done and photos, the car appears to be a Dietrich model. However, I am not absolulety sure and if any club member could shed some light on it feel free to get in contact with me.
Update: I have been told the car is actually a Lebaron instead of a Dietrich. I have recieved a deposit and sale should be completed soon.
