The front fenders on my ‘34 KA where they meet below the radiator shell have been welded together since I’ve owned the car and I want to restore this to include the chrome strip that originally tied the fenders together. I have sawed through the weld to separate the fenders, but am having some problems aligning the chrome strip between the fenders. There’s also a twisted bracket attached to the chrome strip that attaches somewhere, but don’t know where. The holes in the chrome strip I have don’t align with the holes in the flanges of the fenders. Does anyone have any photos, or any other information to guide me in restoring this back to original?
