I believe that the weld wires were introduced some time in '28. In the book The Lincoln MotorCar, it states that weld wires became standard in the year. Disc wheels and artillery wheels remained available on an optional basis.
come with Buffalo laced spoke wheels? I thought the welded spoke wheels weren't introduced until 1929.
I've seen a couple of 28 cars advertised that have the welded wheels, which seems incorrect.
