Lincoln "K" Technical Questions

Boy, do I feel robbed! hahahaha

I dug through the cobwebs and found the few pieces of trim that survived the disassembly process. Sadly, my pieces aren't stainless, or they are of such poor quality stainless, that they rusted severely.

I'm on a good route now to get what I have straightened and piece together the missing pieces I have.

Ashley, I think what you think is rubber is actually stainless steel thats painted the color of the body. Im going to attach two pictures of what it’s supposed to look like. These are not off my car. It’s very difficult to find them. Anyway, there’s a base polished stainless steel piece and then another stainless part that’s painted body color on top of it.

*****EDIT***** What is the original material? Rubber or something else? Could I use Delrin?

Who has sourced a good supplier for the rubber inserts for the luggage rack trim strips?

I've pieced together a good set of trim from 3 cars and after making a few repairs and finish the polishing, I'll need the rubber.
