Lincoln "L" Technical Questions

The quantity is correct for the 176A built in 1930 however it was introduced in the last half of 29 when 93 were built. The Dual Cowl/Dual windshield version 176 B had 42 built in '29 and 90 in '30.

From the one photo the body looks long for a 176. There was a 177 Touring Sport model built, virtually the same except it would hold 7 people (2 jump seats) and had the longer body to accommodate them.

Another question - in the paperwork I received with the car, it states this is 1 of only 53 1930 176-As that were built. Is there any way to verify this?

The Bragg-Kliesrath vacuum brake booster is not original to the 1930 Model L. It wasn't used by Lincoln until the Model K. Service information for the Model K should be applicable though. Service bulletins can be obtained through the Lincoln Owner's Club pertinent to your car. The Lincoln Service book has been reproduced and is useful. The Lincoln Master Parts Price List is a 260 plus page book detailing all of the Model L parts with illustrations. You can contact the Henry Ford library for the original build sheet on your car. Some if their records were lost in a fire, but they still have quite a few. I was able to obtain them for my cars.

Evening, I live in Jupiter, Florida and just acquired a 100% original 1930 Model L 176-A. I'm interested in finding out everything I can about the original build, but not having much success locating anything on the web by the chassis number (65472) or various search terms. Can anyone point me to a good source for this type of info? I'm also looking for a diagram of the brake system showing the booster pump. I appreciate it!
