The car is in really good condition, it's been in the same family for more than 50 years. The present owner and his father (now deceased) were both auto mechanics and have a lot of experience with old cars. There are some fabulous cars in their garage.

All the systems in the car are first class and run great. The motor has been removed so it could have a new timing chain, but at that time everything was checked out and fixed where needed. As for everything else it's ready to drive, just needs gas. I'm not sure what the original interior looked like, but the new upholstery was done properly and looks good to me--I will ask the owner to add some more pictures so you can see it clearly.

To my mind, it's a complete steal. The only reason they're selling it is to make space in the garage for a Model A which his wife would then be able to drive, too. If I had the money I would not think twice about buying it. Sadly, I'm in the middle of restoring my own '21 Lincoln so any spare cash is going to that at the moment.

What do you know about the history of this car and the current condition? I saw the photos in Hemmings and it appears to be a clean, original car. What is the mechanical condition of the various systems, engine, transmission, brakes, etc? Has the engine been rebuilt, how is the oil pressure, cooling,etc? It the replacement upholstery done authentically to replicate the original (the interior photo in Hemmings is out of focus)?
