i dont know that there is any long term study on what the correct capacitance for model L condensers might be. I used two bosh units from a VW. I think i would just pick the one that you like best and try it and see how the points wear.

My 28 Lincoln still has original condensers inside the distributor,
I suspect they are tired almost going to earth
poor starting with poor yellow spark ! I have fitted two new 6 volt HP bosch coils.
Now, I have a choice of condensers that will fit inside the distributer
2.2 farads ,or 4.4 Farads! could anyone advise which ones to use please
